SPEX is an ideal platform for improving the effectiveness, productivity and safety of field service and maintenance & repair workers. SPEX enables 2-way audio and video exchanges between remote centrally-located experts and technician onsite in the field, in maintenance & repair centers or mobile within large facilities.
Field Service And Remote Expert Advice
Live 2-way Video
SPEX houses a 2-way video capability that enables remote experts to see what the technician in the field can see. Since the camera and displays are on the technician’s head, the camera is naturally pointed at the area of interest and the tech’s hands are free to perform the task. SPEX BR also contains 2-way audio. It’s like the remote expert is over the shoulder when needed to help.
Most technical field work requires review of technical drawings or specifications. Carrying paper manuals can be difficult and positioning them while performing the work can be difficult. Even electronic tablet must be put somewhere while tasks are performed. With the SPEX .pdf viewer, technical documentation can be available at a glance, throughout tasks and procedures, simply by looking at the SPEX displays.
Capture & Store Diagnostics
With zoom, contrast, freeze, flashlight, auto-focus and other features, SPEX can assist and enhance the technicians vision while being directed by the remote expert who can see everything the technician sees, and can be used to efficiently capture high-detail images for further diagnosis and record keeping.
Integrate With ERP
With SPEX, paperwork can be reduced or even eliminated. Field service tickets can be served up from the ERP system where the technician can update the status directly. Work tracking and invoicing systems can then be automatically updated to further reduce associated administrative costs.
