SPEX provides a unique platform for Interactive Training by combining video streaming and VOIP to and from the SPEX HMD with remote control of all features of the SPEX Super Vision camera and display system including zoom, contrast, freeze frame, autofocus, flashlight and others. A remote trainer can manage the experience for the trainee(s) from the next room or many miles away.
In the Next Room or Around The Globe
Hands Free Super Vision and Data
SPEX is the only HMD that enables mobility without interfering with native and peripheral vision, due to the SPEX Bioptic Tilt™ design. With trainees wearing SPEX to perform tasks or lessons, the trainer sees everything the trainee sees, and can instruct via voice communication, highlight areas to take action by ‘drawing’ on the SPEX display or provide additional information via AR data or images.
Super Vision by Example
With a trainer using SPEX Super Vision to capture and magnify intricate or complex procedures, imagery and sound can be streamed live to students in the next room, or anywhere connected to the internet. The trainer can make comments or answer questions during the stream, completely hands free of the SPEX headset or controller.
Capture & Record Performance
SPEX can assist and enhance the trainee’s vision while being directed by the remote trainer, who sees everything the technician sees, but the trainer can also capture high-detail freeze frame images or record streaming video for documentation of the trainee’s performance through the SPEX remote control application.
